Huntsville Police are searching for two masked men they said broke into an apartment at Overlook Aparments on Sparkman Drive early Wednesday morning.
Investigators said the men kicked in the door around 2:45 a.m. and were both armed.
Three people were at the residence when the break-in took place. Police told WAAY 31 that the man was pistol whipped.
Meanwhile, one of the women, the girlfriend of the man, jumped out of the second floor window to escape. She was later transported to Huntsville Hospital with non-life threatening injuries. Her boyfriend refused treatment.
The men stole some cash from the residence before fleeing.
Police brought a K-9 to the scene, but were unable to track down the masked men. If you know anything about this crime, you're asked to contact Huntsville Police.
