For the third time this week, investigators are looking into a Fastenal store that was the target of a break-in.

Huntsville Police were alerted to the the location on Wall Triana when an alarm went off shortly before midnight on Wednesday.

Officers said the front door was smashed when they arrived. They learned that power tools were taken from this location, but no cash.

It was a similar story for the location on Spacegate Road in the north part of Huntsville. Investigators said that store was broken into sometime between Monday night and Tuesday morning. In that case, the front door was also smashed and power tools and other merchandise were taken.

An employee of the Wall Triana location informed police that the Fastenal in on Highway 20 in Decatur was burglarized Tuesday night.

As of Thursday morning, police can't definitively say if the three crimes are related, but it's part of their ongoing investigation.

According to its website, several Fastenal stores are located in north Alabama including Huntsville, Decatur, Hartselle, Athens, Scottsboro, Boaz, Fort Payne, Cullman, Muscle Shoals, Florence, and Russellville.

If you know anything about these crimes, you're asked to contact Huntsville or Decatur police.
