2019 Tennessee Valley National Signing Day Coverage

Athens High School

All of Ethan Rinke's family and friends came decked out in their University of Tennessee orange. Rinke is ranked 66th in the state of Alabama. He's signed his letter of intent to officially become a Vol and play under the Rainsville native Head Coach Jeremy Pruitt.

Austin High School

Dozens packed the Austin High auditorium for their signing day celebration. For football, JJ Swopes signed with Kentucky Christian University, and Jacob Dortch is going on to Tennessee Valley.

A star baseball player, Colin Partain, is taking his talents to Calhoun Community College.

Hanna Royer signed a cheerleading scholarship with the University of Alabama at Birmingham.

Bob Jones High School

The Patriots' Artavious Allen had an audience to watch him sign with the University of West Alabama. 

Decatur High School

In a private ceremony with friends and family, three Red Raiders signed their letters of intent Wednesday. Kenny Williams has signed to play at Bethel University. Jackson Hall is going to Jacksonville State University, and Jacoby Chatman will play at Tennessee Valley Prep.

East Limestone High School

Three football players from East Limestone signed on the dotted line early Wednesday morning. Ashton Lockett and Jeremiah Thomas get to play together for at least the next four years at the University of the Cumberlands. While their teammate Lucas Terry is headed to LaGrange College in Georgia.

Florence High School

The Falcons had a big signing day where 12 players signed on the dotted line Wednesday afternoon. This includes Kiarion Freeman, Jordan Hayley, Jelen Lee, Kameron Lewis, Jaylen Morris, Isaiah Nelson, Tre Rhodes, Tyrese Siner, Caddarius Thompson, Jonathan Turner, Nick Waller and Amari Young.

These athletes signed to New Mexico Military Institute, Georgia State, University of Tennessee at Chattanooga, University of the Cumberlands, Birmingham Prep, Faulkner University and Benedictine College.

Grissom High School

Over at Grissom, the Tigers had one player put the pen to paper. Running Back Mel Dantzler is headed to Dodge Community College in the fall.

Huntsville High School

Huntsville had five football players sign on National Signing Day. Three of these guys get to stay teammates too as they committed to playing at Birmingham Southern; those guys: Jackson Glover, Hanes Green, and Connors Landweir. Zack Strage is heading south in the state of Alabama as a preferred walk-on at the University of Alabama in Birmingham. Lastly, Stoney Patton is continuing his athletic and academic career at Tennessee Valley Prep.

Madison Academy

Two Mustang teammates are holding on to their last high school moments together, while also embracing the future. Tex Bailey signed Wednesday to the Eastern Kentucky University. His friend and teammate, Daniel Brent is going to the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga. Brent thanks his parents for all their support, and says he wouldn't be here without them. Bailey added he wouldn't be here without his coaches and his family's support. 

Mae Jemison High School

Eight players from Jemison signed today: Keshon Davis and Cortez Richmond are heading to the University of the Cumberlands. Diarius Donaldson signed to go to Norwich University. Taron Greenwood plans to stay in state by heading to Alabama State. Francisco Murillo has decided on Tennessee Valley Prep. Malik Toney is going to Hutchinson Community College. Justin Richburg-Wade heading way up north to Ohio to play at the College of Wooster. Last, but certainly not least, Keandre Gregory has officially signed to kplay at the University of West Georgia. 

Mars Hill Bible School

For the first time in school and program history, the Panthers football team had two players sign to play ball at the next level. Colt Smith is headed to Jacksonville State University and Joseph Hanson will be going to Harding University.

RA Hubbard High School

Three teammates from RA Hubbard don't have to say goodbye for at least another four years because they're all going to the University of the Cumberlands: Malik Bynum, Jamel Robinson, and Desmond Fennell.
