15 new coronavirus cases confirmed at Limestone Correctional Facility in Harvest

The Alabama Department of Corrections confirmed more coronavirus cases on Wednesday at Limestone Correctional Facility.

Fifteen new coronavirus cases have been confirmed at Limestone Correctional Facility in Harvest.

In an update on Wednesday, the Alabama Department of Corrections said three staff members and 12 inmates have tested positive for the virus, as of Nov. 30.

The department says 226 total cases of the virus among staff and contracted staff remain active, and 86 remain active among inmates.
