Two arrested on drug charges at Madison motel

MADISON, Ala. (WAAY) - Police said two people arrested at a local motel Friday had a 1-year-old child in their room along with prescription drugs and methamphetamine.

Acting on information about drug activity at the Econo Lodge on Arlington Drive, police said they found oxycodone, methaphetamine and drug paraphernalia in a room belonging to Charles McAllister, 58, Hazel Green, and Angel Queen, 33, Shelbyville, Tenn. Police said Queen's child was in the room as well.

McAllister was charged with drug possession and possession of drug paraphernalia. His bond was set at $8,000.

Queen was charged with chemical endangerment of a child. Her bond was set at $2,500.
