FLORENCE, Ala. -- Off to a 5-1 start, the University of North Alabama baseball team is nationally ranked in all three NCAA Division II polls this week.
The Lions held on to their No. 9 spot in College Baseball Lineup's Division II poll, while jumping from 20th to 13th in the National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association poll. UNA is also ranked 26th nationally by Collegiate Baseball Newspaper.
The Lions are ranked third in the Division II South Region by the National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association. Tampa heads the ranking, followed by West Florida and UNA.
North Alabama hosts Montevallo on Wednesday (Feb. 15) at Mike Lane Field in a single game beginning at 2 p.m.
