Huntsville, AL - The Huntsville Havoc have traded popular defenseman Gabriel Boutin-Gagnon.

In 35 games with the Havoc this year, the rookie has a goal and two assists. But, Boutin-Gagnon earned fans by dropping the gloves, not scoring goals. The 22 year old is among the league leaders with 125 penalty minutes.

Boutin-Gagnon was sent to the Mississippi Riverkings in exchange for future considerations. The move was made necessary when defenseman Greg Brown returned from a call-up to the CHL, putting the Havoc over the league roster size limit.
