UPDATE: Arrest made in deadly Huntsville shooting

HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (WAAY) - Police arrested a Hazel Green man Thursday afternoon and charged him with killing a Huntsville man Wednesday.

Michael Shawn Pierce Fletcher, 25, is charged with capital murder. He's in the Madison County Jail without bond.

Fletcher is charged with killing Charles Swinford, 64, at his home in the 2000 block of Lex Drive. Swinford was found in his home, shot once in the abdomen. He died at Huntsville Hospital.
