Two arrested during drug bust in Morgan County

Somerville, Ala. (WAAY)-Several people are in custody after being arrested for drugs in Morgan County.

It happened at a home on Morrow Mountain road in Somerville around seven o'clock Wednesday night.  Investigators with the Morgan County narcotics team say they were serving a warrant and discovered a red phosphorus Meth lab.

The homeowner James Sharpe was arrested and was charged with manufacturing Meth. Another man at the home Timothy Neal was charged with possession and loitering in a drug house.

Authorities confiscated a shotgun and 500 grams of liquid Meth and eight grams of crystal Meth. Both suspects could be arraigned Thursday morning.
