MARSHALL COUNTY, Ala. (WAAY) - Three people are being held in connection with a man whose body was found in a burning vehicle in Geraldine last week.

Marshall County authorities said Tuesday that Christopher Todd Cagle, 28, of Albertville, Delia May Downs, 33, of Albertville, and Michael Stanley Townsel Jr., 28, of Fort Payne are all in the DeKalb County Jail. The three are charged with kidnapping and have $1 million bonds.

Authorities said they are still gathering information in the death of Gary Lee Willis, 38, of Boaz, and plan to charge them with murder.

Firefighters found Willis' body inside a burning vehicle Dec. 17, in a wooded area off County Road 135 in Geraldine. Autopsy results showed Willis had been shot several times.

DeKalb and Marshall County authorities said they worked together and determined Willis had been taken against his will from a home on Old McVille Road Dec. 13.

Authorities did not say what the motive may have been for the crime.

ACC Unclassified: The Army Contracting Command

You might have heard that if a soldier shoots it, drives it, flies it, wears it or eats it, the Army Materiel Command provides it, but AMC is a major command with many subordinate commands underneath their large umbrella making things move. So who actually purchases all that “stuff?” That would be the Army Contracting Command.
