Winchester, TN - Police in Winchester, TN are investigating following a shooting at Southern Tennessee Medical Center.
It happened around 4:10 Saturday afternoon outside the hospital's emergency room. STMC's CEO Phil Young says a vehicle pulled up outside the emergency room and someone from inside the vehicle fired multiple rounds that struck the exterior wall of the building near the emergency room entrance. The vehicle then left the scene.
Young says the hospital was immediately put on lockdown until law enforcement arrived at the scene. He says no one was injured in the shooting.
The Winchester Police Department is handling the investigation.
