HUNTSVILLEAL - The school bus controversy at Hampton Cove Elementary School has now been resolved.

To cut costs, Huntsville City Schools eliminated several buses at more than a dozen schools, including Hampton Cove.  The remaining buses make multiple routes to pick up and drop off the children.

In Hampton Cove, the new busing system left some students waiting for a bus to take them home in the afternoons.  Parents say it was difficult to determine whether their child would return home on the early bus or the late bus.

On Wednesday, Hampton Cove parents told WAAY31 that all students arrived at the bus stop at the same time, and said that school administrators re-added the buses, assuring that each student will have adequate transportation to and from school.
