Flooding Concerns In Jackson County

Jackson County, AL-In Jackson County the continued wet weather is causing major headaches around Woodville and parts of Scottsboro. The area is still recovering from Monday's storms.

Brenda Walkers house is a mess. Monday more then a foot of water poured into her house ruining her flooring and furniture. "Well the scary thing is that the rain could wash our house of the foundation. Thats the scary thing" Walker said. On the outside her two cars were nearly submerged. She's hoping for some sunshine and less rainfall.
"The cars, well the jeep and the car we got them running but they are not good. They are still full of water inside and out. In here we started tearing up carpet and tossing out furniture".

Jackson County Emergency Management Agency officials were keeping a watchful eye on the rainfall. One too two inches of rain fell in Jackson County. The
Paint Rock river crested at 18 feet.
