Gadsden, AL - Etowah County Sheriff Todd Entrekin is offering a reward in exchange for information leading to the arrest and conviction of whoever is responsible for a series of break-ins over the weekend. At least five patrol cars from several different law enforcement agencies were hit Sunday night or Monday morning at various parts of the County. 

Several rifles, shotguns and bulletproof vests were stolen from the vehicles. 

“Someone somewhere knows who have committed these crimes and we are asking for the public’s help in apprehending these dangerous criminals,” says Sheriff Todd Entrekin in a prepared release.


The vehicles were parked at :
Etowah County Sheriff’s Office and Sardis City Police Department in Reece City
Gadsden Police Department on Noccalula Mountain
Gadsden Police Department in Hokes Bluff
Calhoun County Sheriff’s Office in Southside

In addition, two Etowah County Sheriff's patrol units were broken into in December.
