HUNTSVILLE, AL - Pleasures of University Drive held its second annual "Guns for Toys" event today. Store owners say after last year's drive was incredibly successful, doing it again this year was a no brainer.

Here's how it works: The store appraises your gun and gives you equal value in store credit. The gun's serial number is then checked to make sure it isn't linked to any crimes. Then, a gun dealer will scrap it for parts and the proceeds will be donated to the Huntsville Fallen Officer Memorial.

Last year, the store took more than 30 guns off the streets. According to owner Sherrie Williams, "Its taking guns off the street for a little fun between the sheets, just in time for Valentines Day."
