Stolen undercover police car found in Tennessee

HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (WAAY) - Huntsville police say an undercover police car that was stolen has been found in Tennessee.

Police department spokesman Harry Hobbs said the unmarked Chevy Lumina, which had been fully equipped with police lights, a radio and siren, had been stripped.

The vehicle was in an independent garage for repairs when it was stolen in late January. It was recovered Saturday.

Police are investigating the theft.
