DECATUR, Ala. (WAAY) - Police arrested a man Tuesday after they said he stole a vehicle and led them on a brief chase through the city.

Police said Biggans stole a vehicle from a parking lot in the 1100 block of 6th Avenue SE around 12:45 p.m. Tuesday. Less than a minute after the vehicle's description was given out to officers, the vehicle was spotted in a nearby alley.

Police said Biggans refused to stop and led police on a two-minute chase that ended when he pulled over near the intersection of 9th Street and 11th Avenue SE.

Biggans' bond was set at $7,000.
