HUNTSVILLE, Ala (WAAY)-A local delegation from Madison County will travel to Washington DC to witness the 2nd inauguration of President Barack Obama.

Madison County commissioner Bob Harrison is taking a delegation of 56 people from Huntsville to witness the Presidents inauguration.  Harrison says the group will travel by bus and feel proud to represent Madison County.

Harrison attended the event four years ago. "Never in my life time did I ever dream that I would see that happen. The emotion and sentiment of having that experience I was very tearful, elated, happy and proud" Harrison said.

The Madison County Commissioner says because of that experience he wants others from Huntsville to witness history for the second time. "And so a few of my constituents came up with the idea to get a bus. And everybody get on the bus and go to Washington for the inauguration".

The group will hit the road Sunday January 20th
