Most memorable interview or story: In 2006, I covered a story on a Zero G flight that was offered to science teachers through the Space and Rocket Center . I flew in Boeing 747 and got to feel what it's like to be weightless. I floated in the air around 5 times for about 40 seconds each time. It was an opportunity I will never forget and something I would have never had the opportunity to do otherwise.
Role model: My role model is my grandmother. I have learned from her example what it means to be a strong, Christian woman. She is the most honest and humble persons I know.
Favorite food: I absolutely love a good steak especially when my husband fires up the grill.
Favorite sports team and why: University of Alabama football because my father was a big fan and he passed his love of football and the Tide on to me.
Favorite musician: I love all types of music but if I had to pick a favorite it would be The Judds because I had the opportunity to meet them when I covered CMA awards for WAAY 31 in 2009.

Why you like working in the Tennessee Valley and WAAY: I like working in the Tennessee Valley because this is where I grew up and I have many friends and family in the area. I enjoy working at WAAY because of the people. They are like a second family and have been very supportive.
