Most memorable interview or story: Honestly, each story is memorable in its own way for a funny moment, a touching interview or a special person I hope I give each story the attention it deserves, and every person who shares his or her experience with me, the respect they are due.
Role Model: My grandparents. Without a doubt, they are the most amazing people I know. They are responsible for every good thing I've accomplished in my life.
Favorite sports team and why: Roll Tide, Roll!
Favorite Vacation Spot: Anywhere on the Alabama/Florida Gulf Coast.
First TV Appearance: Chattanooga, Tennessee. I'm so grateful to have worked there for nearly 10 years.
Dream Job: I'm doing it!
Favorite TV show: Anything on the Discovery, History or Science channels. I'm also hooked on Top Chef.
Working in the TN Valley and at WAAY: This is home. There is no place in the world I'd rather be working or any other station for which I'd rather be working.
Community involvement: I'm a proud member of the March of Dimes Board of Directors. March of Dimes does incredible work in helping make sure every baby is born healthy. The group is known for its efforts in preventing birth defects, but it funds so much more – everything from new methods in helping premature babies to research into childhood diseases.
