As you can see in the image above, the severe thunderstorm in Lincoln County, TN, is based on the ‘STORM' and not the ‘COUNTY'. AS you can clearly see, Howell, Fayetteville, and Three Oaks are IN the warning ‘POLYGON', while Champ is NOT. However, the NOAA weather radio would be sounding in Champ even though it is not within the polygon of the NWS warning area.
