The Rocket City is growing faster than the state's three other major cities.
New census numbers report that Huntsville's population alone jumped to 176,645 people.
That's growth of more than 18,000 residents since 2000.
Both Birmingham and Mobile lost residents, while Montgomery only had modest growth.
The report credits NASA, Redstone Arsenal and BRAC for the increase.
