Fireworks Illegal In City Limits

Posted:

Fireworks are a fun family activity, but they can be dangerous.

The holiday spectacle is a major cause of grass fires.

The Tennessee Valley is under a no burn order, that means people living inside the city limits are prohibited from using fireworks.

However, fireworks are still legal in the county.

Residents should keep a bucket of water nearby at all times.

If a grass fire is started, those responsible are subject to criminal prosecution.
