Sunshine returns and a warm up begins

Sunshine prevails throughout the start of the workweek with temperatures on the rise.

Good morning Tennessee Valley! The sun returns in our forecast today with high temperatures in the lower 60's as a Northerly wind ushers in cooler and drier weather to the Valley.

Tonight lows drop in the lower 40's and upper 30's under clear skies.

From Tuesday to Wednesday winds flow back in from the South where temperatures warm up to average highs for this time of year in the mid 60's under partly sunny skies.

It's not until Thursday when a chance of pop up showers builds into the Valley during the afternoon.

Friday another weak wave of energy moves in causing a better chance of showers.

Saturday will bring in a cold front causing widespread scattered showers.
