Police say they are searching for this man, George Rhodes, but have arrested another on unrelated charges. They also say the victim's wife said her husband was stabbed in the chest at his friend's house on Hermitage Drive, but she's not sure what led up to the stabbing.

"I looked out of the window and there was a pretty large police presence and they got the street blocked on both ends and lots of police right there in front of the hosue," Kent Mays lives right next to the hom on Hermitage Drive where Bruce Crunk was stabbed Monday night. "It's very unusual, this is a very quiet neighborhood. Usually no problems at all.So that was an unusual night last night."

Florence police told WAAY 31 a friends o fCrunk's, who was also at the home, drove him to Eliza Coffee Memorial Hospital. Police said Crunk had surgery and is in stable condition.

"It's scary. It's frightening. I don't know the man that was staying in the house very well," Mays told us.

Police said the suspects in the case are Daryl Burt and George Rhodes. Police have arrested Burn on an unrelated warrant, and now they are searching for Rhodes, who faces charges of first degree assault.
