Kerryon Johnson takes home second SEC award

The SEC released their annual football awards as voted on by the coaches on Wednesday.

Madison Academy graduate Kerryon Johnson earned his second SEC Offensive Player of the Year Award in as many days on Wednesday, earning the award by that name as voted on by the conference's coaches on Wednesday after he took home the AP's SEC Offensive Player of the Year award on Tuesday. 

Johnson led the SEC in rushing the year, pacing the Auburn Tigers with 1,320 yards and 19 total touchdowns despite missing two games to injury.  Thanks to this year's stellar season, Kerryon moved up to 12th all-time on Auburn's career rushing list with 2,423 yards.
