Some Buckhorn High students are feeling out-of-this-world this weekend.

They won the Rover Challenge at the U.S. Space and Rocket Center.

That’s a big deal for Team Buckhorn. The Rover Challenge is an internationally-acclaimed event. And this is Buckhorn’s first time to win.

The team finished first after going up against more than 80 other teams.

“We are so proud of this effort and their success,” Madison County School Superintendent Matt Massey said. “These students work hard every day. They are challenged by exceptional teachers and mentors. Education is working in the Madison County School System.”
