Our next system is in the southwest and will slowly move toward the Valley on Tuesday. This means we won't see that much rain during the day Tuesday but rather at night and Wednesday. So if you do have to do anything outside Tuesday the weather will cooperate. But if you have to do anything outside Wednesda you may have to wait till late in the day.

The cold front won't pass until Wednesday night but it won't cool us down all that much. The really cold air will arrive just in time for Christmas.

The system that will bring in the cold air for Christmas will arrive at some point Friday. What happens after that is really up in the air. What we do know is that we will see a lot of rain in the Valley Friday through Sunday. We are just trying to narrow down which areas get the most. It will all depend on the positioning of the boundary. Just moving it 50 miles (which is a very small distance in weather) could give us washouts or some periods of heavy rain.

What we could also see on Sunday is the cold front not going through the Valley completely. This could set the stage for a rain and snow mix late Sunday into Monday morning.

We are still several days away so be sure to keep checking back in for any updates.

Enjoy the Valley!
