Auburn jumps into CFB playoff picture, Alabama on outside looking in

For the second time in the last three weeks there's a new number one in college football's playoff rankings.

Week 13 of the college football season proved to be tough for the top two teams in the country, both Alabama and Miami lost their first games of the year in the final week of the regular season and as expected, fell out of the College Football Playoff top four.

Then No. 1 Alabama lost to then No. 6 Auburn 26-14 for the first time since 2013 and now they're in danger of missing the playoff for the first time since it's inception.  While Auburn jumped one spot to No. 4 in tonight's rankings release and will take on No. 6 Georgia for the SEC Championship on Saturday.  Winner of that game punches their ticket to the playoff.
