A Trinity man is dead after a one car accident over the weekend. The accident happened just before eight o'clock, Saturday night, in a curve in the north bound lane of County Road 369 near the Caddo community in Lawrence County.     

State Troopers say 45 year old Paul Heaps lost control of his Pontiac Grand Prix in the curve, over-corrected and went across the road hitting a parked construction van. The car then bounced back across the road and hit a tree. Heaps was pronounced dead at the scene. The accident remains under investigation by State Troopers.
