DeKalb County investigators believe they've put an end to a rash of church burglaries.

It's a story you saw only on WAAY 31.

18-year-old Ethan Heaton of Crossville is charged with burglary.

Authorities spotted his car Thursday afternoon and pulled him over.

He's being held in the DeKalb County Jail on $60,000 bond.

Investigators say Heaton robbed at least 6 churches across DeKalb County during both November and December.

He's accused of stealing about $20,000 worth of sound and music equipment from the churches.

Heaton could face at least three more charges.
