NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) - Officials at the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum say an exhibit about the Hank Williams family has been the most popular ever.

With that in mind, they've extended "Family Tradition: The Williams Family Legacy," until Dec. 31, 2011. It was originally to have closed this Dec. 31.

Officials said members of the Williams family loaned artifacts and heirlooms for the exhibit.

Hank Williams Sr. was a country pioneer in the early 1950s with hits like "Your Cheatin' Heart" and "I'm So Lonesome I Could Cry." His son is a contemporary performer with hits like "All My Rowdy Friends Are Coming Over Tonight." He's also the longtime performer of the theme song for Monday night NFL games.

Hank Jr. has taped promotional spots for the exhibit. They will begin airing in January.
