3 Years Later, Lee Bus Crash Report Due Today

Posted:

The National Transportation Safety Board is expected to release it's final report on the November 20th, 2006 crash involving a Lee High School bus.

The accident killed four students and hurt more than two dozen others. Nicole Ford, Tanesha Hill, Chrystal McCrary and Christine Collier were killed when the bus drove off a 565 overpass onto Church Street. Some police reports, and civil lawsuits claim that another student driving his personal vehicle cut the bus off, causing it to swerve and crash.

NTSB officials say other accidents have forced their investigation into the Lee accident to be put on the back burner, but the final report should be released sometime Thursday afternoon.
