KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (AP) - The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation has arrested a high school teacher in Jamestown for statutory rape of a 16-year-old male.

The agency said Thursday that 27-year-old Lindsey Seymour, of Allardt, was indicted by the Fentress County grand jury on eight counts of statutory rape by an authority figure.

The alleged incidents took place between June and September while she was employed as a teacher at the Alvin C. York Institute in Jamestown.

Her first appearance is scheduled for Nov. 9.
