Gov. Candidate Tim James Commits to Madison Roads

Posted:

Another one of Alabama's candidates for governor is promising extra tax money for Madison County roads.

Republican Tim James signed a commitment to pledge 80-percent of gas tax money toward road projects.

Right now, Huntsville and Madison County only gets 53-cents one the dollar.

James say with BRAC moving in, the city and county both need to accommodate the influx of people to the area.

He joins Republican governor candidates Bradley Byrne and Bill Johnson in the pledge.
