Lawrence County officers solved a burglary crime from last year.

A DNA search led officers to 53 year old Gary Adams.

Investigators say he broke into a home in the Five Points community of Lawrence County last year.

The only clue officers had to go was blood from a broken window.

That's where they think Adams broke in.

Officers had the the blood tested, and found out Tuesday that it matched Adams' DNA.

Adams was arrested and charged with burglary and theft.

He is free on bond.
