NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) - The state health department has lifted a suspension of new admissions at a Chattanooga nursing home.
Life Care Center in Red Bank had been barred on June 17 from taking in new patients after inspectors cited the facility for deficiencies in administration, performance improvement, physician services, nursing services, medical records, and pharmaceutical services.
The sanctions were lifted on Tuesday after the Tennessee Department of Health determined the 148-bed nursing home was again in compliance with regulations.
