Three city councils, three draft beer proposals, three approvals.
Sheffield, Tuscumbia and Muscle Shoals have all approved plans to begin selling draft beer after Monday night council meetings. Meanwhile, other Shoals towns like Littleville and Cherokee are considering draft sales of their own.
In Sheffield, the ordinance can take effect immediately. In Muscle Shoals, a five day grace period must pass before the law becomes official, and Tuscumbia law states the new amendment has to be publicly advertised before it's good.
The new draft bills had nothing to do with Sunday sales, which have been a controversial topic for years in the Shoals.
